HTH® Clear 4 Weeks Shock

HTH Shock It is a potent one-time shock treatment designed for rapid dissolution, instantly eliminating bacteria and algae upon contact. It acts as a fast-acting shock for pools, elevating chlorine levels and effectively addressing harmful contaminants.

Chlorine in pool water serves a dual purpose: it sanitizes by eliminating harmful bacteria and oxidizes by breaking down dead organic matter. Chlorine uniquely leaves a residual in the water, providing ongoing protection against introduced contaminants. There are two types of chlorine sanitizers: non-stabilized and stabilized.

Usage Instructions:
1. Test pool water using HTH 4-in-1 Test Kit or HTH Quick Test Strips, maintaining pH between 7.2 - 7.6.
2. In the early evening, add one sachet of HTH Shock It or HTH Super Shock It around the pool's sides.
3. Run the filter for 24 hours.
4. After the first 12 hours, check and re-correct the pH level. Continue with the normal chlorination program.
5. Only enter the pool when chlorine residual is at the recommended level.

Tips:
- For vinyl or colored lining, pre-dissolve HTH Shock It or HTH Super Shock It in a bucket of water to prevent bleaching.
- Shock treating addresses 90% of pool water problems in 24 hours if the pH is correct.
